Up-do with Jute String Intertwined

Today I went to a dairy festival in Mississippi and met up with Ryan. :) She got someone to bring me a turtle (snapping turtle, which I finally put my big girl boots on and picked up) for the turtle racing contest. Sadly, I didn't win.. There was also butter churning contests, a bubble gum blowing contest, guessing the cows weight, a car show, craft booths, homemade butter and ice cream for sale, and lots more. It was a very fun day. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of it.. But, this is how I wore my hair today.

I love the way it turned out. :) It's a nice and simple country look. What do you think about it? :)

  1. Turtle racing contests!? That sounds like so much fun! I wish we had some of those things where I live :( It sounds like you had a good time !

I absolutely love your hair like this ! It's so unique. You should deff think about doing a tutorial (:

  2. These are the things I dread. Kaylee (4yr old daughter) loves having her long hair but hates brushing it and won't let us put it up (pony tail or what ever)

And this old man needs to learn how to braid (hey don't laugh, I DON'T KNOW) but I'm sure as she gets older she will let me tackle it.

We have fairs like that around here - mainly in Dixon, or Placerville.
